Art Nest Extracurricular has officially started!
After started to know each other by doing an introduction, and discussing what we're going to need for our first project, we have start working on our first project.. which is *drum roll* Scrapbook! :D
This time, we're trying to figure out each person's personal style. We try to develop their personal skill so not everybody is going to use the same one idea, but if one have an idea, we would try to expand their idea and express it in a scrapbook.
As an addition, the Art Nest members are so fun to be with. One talks in a small voice, but keep giggling even though there really is nothing funny. Other keep grinning and work cheerfully. And others are quite but trying their best to work on the project. There are a lot of different characters in this 'nest', and it'd be exciting to get to know them better.
While we're working on our project, we'll keep you updated with what we did, and also some sneak-peeks right from the Art Nest. Visit often! :)

Art Nest: Ideology
Why Art Nest? The word "nest" in our title means "home" literally, which explains that this is the place to grow and develop, to express our Art skills together. Our goal is to make this activity to relieve us from the fatigue we will probably get after spending all day long studying in class.
Why scissorhands? Basically we got the inspiration from Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhand, which was a character who has a pair of scissor, instead of fingers, as his limbs. What we actually mean here is to make ourselves used to working a lot with scissors since we are doing arts and crafts in Art Nest.
We require nothing but interest. The basics will be taught and reviewed as well and what we want is to help students visualize their ideas and keeping their memories in an artistic way. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
